 Fran is known world wide for his custom tied flies. As the originator of the AuSable Wulff (acclaimed by many as the most productive dry fly ever created) the Haystack series from which the compara dun was copied, the Usual and the mini-muddler series, his original patterns are often copied but never duplicated. You can order these original patterns tied by Fran from the finest hackle and materials available. NOTICE: All custom rod orders during the remainder of this year will be processed at the listed price. Beginning Jan lst, I will be forced to raise the price on my deluxe series of rods. All orders will take two to three weeks to process so allow this time for Christmas orders. I regret that there were delays in getting some fly orders out during the season but I canonly tie about 150 flies a day and I tie all of my custom orders. NOTE: Fran's flies are collectibles but he prefers that you fish them. They are tied to catch fish and not fishermen and although he appreciates the fact they are valued as collectors items, remember... no trophy fish was ever caught on a fly in a fly box or mounted in a shadowbox.
